SW2016 mini transceiver assembly from the KIT

Hello today i will talk about how I assembled my SW2016 mini from the KIT.

The KIT came in a standard box of the “Нової пошти”

The board has been with soldered SMD parts

With the electronic version I printed sheet assembly drawings and schematics.

Board synthesizer and tactile button

Nests mini jack was with runners legs but there are no holes in the board so I had to cut them

This capacitor I have not in my KIT

Step by step details are added to the board.

Сатабілізатор напруги фіксується гвинтом.

Came the turn to the toroidal trasformators. They wound of twisted wire so they need before checked and spread as for own pads on a board.

Transformers boxes marked with diagonal lines, and these lines mean placing the winding wires

Program controller via programmer

And so the synthesizer has revived.

Run in the assembly.

Methods adjustment

1. Swich on the power we see that the display lights, and turn off.
2. Connect the programmer, turn on the power, fill firmware. on
frequency indicator displayed by default, and disable,
disconnect the programmer.

3. Turn again, check the operation of all buttons if everything is OK, then put
in the range of 3.6mHz and it will adjust. Take the tweezers in hand, or
hold the screwdriver for metal and cling to antenna jack. circuit L13
Tune core to maximize noise. Then the station in
bands are audible in the restructuring even in this form, without the antenna.
4. Icert pedal in the jack plug and close contact. Whether included
transfer. Measure quiescent current at the terminals for measurement. putting
equal to 100-150 ma, shoulder, no longer need no difference.
5. Put the plugs in the current measuring terminals. connect equivalent
load, voltmeter and oscilloscope there too. Turn mode “TUNE”
Long pressing the “PRE” and look what the output. rotation RV1
to the right adding capacity to 15-18 watts (27-30 volts per load).
Sinusoid to be good, without limitation, at least 15
watt if the supply voltage of about 13,5-13,8 volts. Turn off “TUNE”
6. Turn transfer slot pedal. Modulation no bearing there, and
watch the remainder carrying HF voltmeter. potenciometr RV2
are making minimal evidence. To scratch the arrow falls in this
version, as there is seepage and IF local oscillator path in mind, but it is not
terrible. Noise will show the output of about 50 MW, while bearing
pressed almost completely. This is evident oscilloscope.
Then it would be good to check the tuning oscillator 6 MHz on the slopes
Two-tone generator filter, but if not, then just
QER ask for the data filter value menu BFO USB – 6002.25
and BFO LSB – 5999.00 it will be fine.
7. Next, connect the microphone PTT and check in from
microphone. The scope of the amplitude of the output should reach the level of
maximum capacity set at “TUNE” Optimal
sensitivity and color usually comes when introduced 70-80%
controller RV3.
8. Further evidence must configure S-meter. With GHS file generator 50
MEI and put 9 points in the control menu. And the end of the scale 9 + 60 dB
at high levels, more than 5 mV where evidence no longer grow.
The remaining evidence levels are more or less correct.
9. In conclusion, you can check the power switch. type in
menu TX POWER, exit, and turn “TUNE” again and go to the menu
switch to a decrease in provisions 1. Must show around 1 watt.
More precisely determined face value R53 on the main board. turn
4 position and can be aired.

Lost else to say about real calibration frequency to match the display readings. 4.997.00 MHz frequency at the beginning of every hour and half hour to 1000 Hz tone. The easiest way to listen to the transceiver, and run any 1000 Hz generator on your computer. Listening will be heard simultaneously with the vibration frequency differences. Go to the menu item and tuning REF FREG 39000.000 get equal playing time without hesitation. Exit setup, and then the frequency on all bands will be correct.
